Did God judge the universe due to Satan's rebellion resulting in the desolation of Earth in Genesis 1:2 ?

Genesis 1 (NIV)
The Beginning
“1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”
No, God had created all matter and energy in the beginning ( the Big Bang) but this matter had not formed into the earth yet. After the earth had formed there was no life on it. Life did not come forth without God making it come forth as the Holy Scripture states.
Also God never judges the universe for it obeys his every command. God will judge Satan and the angels who followed him, and the men who refuse to seek Him.
