If one considers the above verse, it is clear that we are to love The Lord with our entire being.
Certainly that would include our minds or our intellect.
Our minds are not some evil thing created by Satan, but our mind was created by God.
If intelligence is evil, that would make God the most evil being in the universe. For certainly God is the most intelligent of all.
We are not to lean or trust in our intelligence. But we are to trust in The Lord Jesus alone. But we are to use our mind to seek The Lord.

Every Christian could benefit from hearing Voddie Baucham’s sermon on Why I Believe the Bible.
The bare bones of his reason to believe in the authenticity of the Bible follows in my response, but how he fleshed it out was entertaining and contained additional information. He is presenting this sermon as a model of basic Christian apologetics.
Voddie Baucham said:
I choose to believe the Bible because it is a reliable collection of historical documents written down by eye witnesses during the life time of other eye witnesses. They report to a supernatural event that took place in fulfillment of specific prophesies and claim their writing are divine rather than human in origin.
He said he did not make this up but took it from:
2 Peter 1:16-21 KJV
16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. 19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
The Bible is a reliable collection of historical documents = For we have not followed cunningly devised fables
The Bible was written down by eye witnesses during the life time of other eye witnesses = were eyewitnesses of his majesty (also 1 John 1:1-5; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8)
They report to a supernatural event = 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well please 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
supernatural event that took place in fulfillment of specific prophesies = We have also a more sure word of prophecy. Example “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Psalm 22:1 and other excerpts from Psalm 22).
their writing are divine rather than human in origin. = Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
