The Lord Jesus just keeps blessing me beyond belief. Today I put my feet up on a very high handrail that was chest high and with my hands on the floor did 60 push-ups. My body was at about a 45 degree angle. So I set a goal to be able to do 75 by my 75th birthday.
Last week I did a squat with 500# bands on my shoulders. I did a set of three.
I went to buy some new running shorts because I am down to 130# and my old ones are too big. I found the nicest running shorts I have ever seen for $ 6 a pair. I feel so good at 130# that it is hard for me to believe it.
Isaac was home for a few days and him and Leah ran with me in Mill Creek park. Leah mentioned as soon as we started running that I was way faster than last year, and I am. Getting faster as I get older stopped many decades ago.
I prayed for the mother, of a dear friend, who had a CT scan that showed so much lung cancer that she was told to plan her funeral. They did a biopsy and was puzzled to find no cancer. So they did another CT and the cancer was all gone. Praise the Name of Jesus.
Then I found out the dear friend had ovarian cancer and another female cancer. I prayed with much fervor for her. She had been having cancer markers in her blood tests that were increasing with every test. The Doctor told her that she had cancer. They did a biopsy to confirm the cancer before they removed organs. The biopsy showed no cancer and the Doctor was very surprised. So they did another blood test. The cancer markers were all gone. Praise the Name of Jesus.
At the YMCA this young lady asked me to run with her. I ran with her for an hour. She then asked me to be her running pardner every day. She is very sweet and a very nice person to be around. We will encourage each other. I enjoy her company very much. We talk about Jesus often. The Lord is good. I had prayed for the Lord to put some women in my life.
Another woman started walking with me in the morning and told me that she felt sure that Jesus had put me in her life to be a close bother to her. We have very good conversations about Jesus.
In fact The Lord has put 6 different women in my life who are all a blessing. When The Lord answers prayer sometimes the answer is overwhelming.
