"Today is Saturday and I was standing in my garage and felt overwhelmed with sin. I knew in my heart that needed forgiveness. The one thing that I felt was that I was scared that I would not be able to keep my marriage alive. I just felt I had the capacity to mess it up. It was a bunch of little stuff that can end up....being big stuff.
I asked the Lord to forgive and cleanse me. I was walking toward the house and my wife came across the yard. She had been digging and planting some bushes. She was dirty, sweaty, with mud smudge on.her nose. As she was talking to me I felt compassion, that's the only feeling I had at the moment...the the Lord spoke quietly to my heart:." this is how I see you.."..I finally realized that God had feelings of compassion for me when I am dirty and mired in sin. He rejoices with me when I come to.Him for forgiveness.*I never before felt that the Lord had compassion on me. I thought I knew it but I never experienced what He feels in His heart... at least a glimpse until today."
