How do you plea? Guilty or not guilty?

How do answer when you stand before the Lord on Judgment day?

Your entire life is exposed - spread out before the throne.

It is plain for all to see you are guilty.

There is no possible deniability.

Yet, you believe you have been forgiven and justified through Christ Jesus.

To confess your guilt ignores what Christ Jesus has accomplished.

To declare yourself not guilty ignores the evidence.

"Enter your plea," the sergeant-at-arms demands. "Guilty or not guilty!"

One from the heavenly hosts shouts, "This is his plea for we have witnessed it all. He comes," and all the heavenly host begins to sing!

Just as I am, without one plea
But that thy blood was shed for me
And that thou bidd’st me come to thee
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To thee, whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fightings and fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
Yea, all I need, in thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just a I am; thy love unknown
Has broken every barrier down;
Now to be thine, yea, thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am - of that free love
The breadth, length, depth, and height to prove,
Here for a season, then above,
-O Lamb of God, I come!

Just as I Am, Without One Plea (1835)
By: Charlotte Elliott

Billy Graham accepted Christ in 1934 in a revival meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina, led by evangelist Mordecai Ham. The song sung as the altar call was "Just As I Am, Without One Plea".

This is my thought as I go to bed tonight knowing what I daily plead.

Note from Lou:

I plea guilty everyday. But The Lord stands and demands I be fully pardoned and even the charges be dropped on account of the blood He shed for me. I am free at last, thank God I am free at last.
