Could this be a warning?


Eclipses in the Bible were often "prophetic" in nature. It seems

amazing to me that scientists are calling this the 'Great American

Eclipse' - a total eclipse the like of which has not occurred for

100 years. Here is what the media is saying-


"The last solar eclipse to cross the entire United States, from

Washington to Florida, occurred in 1918, but it´ll happen again in

less than a month.


"On Aug. 21, the "Great American Eclipse" - when the moon

passes between the sun and Earth... got its name because the

United States is the only country that will experience it.


"The entire country, including people in Alaska and Hawaii, will

be able to see the eclipse... Lika Guhathakurta, an astrophysicist

with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration´s

helophysics science division... "That is a phenomenon that most

Americans have never lived," she said... the view will be more like

night and day when the moon blocks the sun."

The moon is a type of the church - the one side is focused on the world and is seen by the world, the other side is focused toward the sun or Christ. The world does not see that side of the moon (church).

The ellipse of the sun reveals that the "Church" that is focused on the world blocks the light from the Sun ( Christ). The world is left in total darkness with no light during the "day".

This is what the "church" of the US is doing in these days. The nation will not stand unless the church repents and turns to The Lord.

Very good question Tom. Of course anything not good is the fault of all of mankind. Anything good is the credit of God.

I can not totally answer your question at this time. BUT I can say this; during this eclipse the one side is still focused on the world and at that same time the other side is totally focused on the Sun.

The event may be little thought about by the organized church and the world, but that same event may cause the true body of Christ to focus even more on Him.

There will also be others who focus on the natural event, instead of being warned to focus of Christ.

Yeah I see that. Focused on the natural only, without any hint at what God could be saying. The church, for the most part, will not see their judgement coming. When God reaches out to show us.

No I do not interpret the heavenly bodies to anything even similar to astrology. Astrology teaches that the stars can affect our lives, or have power over our lives. I disagree with that very strenuously. Psalm 19 states that the heavens declare the glory of God, NOT that the heavens have any effect on the movements of God. God has simply written in the heavenly bodies what He is going to do, they are nothing but messages in the heavens, they have no power over our lives.

But I do agree that God has written many messages with His creation.

I am not prophesying anything. Only declaring that God is doing so with the eclipse of the Sun that is going to take place in our nation next month.

Hi Fisherman, really good to hear from you.

I have already posted scriptures that support that eclipses are from God. He alone controls them and the objects in the heavens obey Him. If they obey their Creator then they are doing what God is having them do.

Is this eclipse for the US ? - Well the US is the only nation it appears over, AND it appears over the whole nation. Even men know to post signs where and when the men who need to read them can see them.

I will try to post some more scriptures for you. If you find any please post them.
