    Romans 3 NIV

19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin. “

Anyone who has confessed their sin to God and given their life to Jesus is forgiven of their sin and His Holy Spirit enters their spirit and they are saved from the law. They are no longer under law, but they are under grace.

Those who have not done this are under the law. They have to obey every point of the law or will be condemned for their sin at the judgement. But no one can obey every point of the law. In fact no one can obey even one point of the law. Only those who have been given sight by His Holy Spirit will be able to see that fact.

I am fully aware that my every thought, every word and every action is sinful and I need His mercy and grace to forgive me. But I am covered in His blood shed for me and He sees me as righteous and forgives me.
