    GREAT QUOTES from DAVID WILKERSON

"Love is not only something you feel, it is something you do."
    -David Wilkerson.

"How quickly we forget God's great deliverances in our lives. How
easily we take for granted the miracles he performed in our past."

    David Wilkerson

"God has never, in the history of mankind, allowed his name to
    go long offended."
    -David Wilkerson.

"Many of those who once were so passionately in love with Christ
now run about pursuing their own interests. They're burdened
down with stress and problems, chasing after riches and the
    things of this world."
    -David Wilkerson.

"As I look back over fifty years of ministry, I recall innumerable
tests, trials and times of crushing pain. But through it all, the
Lord has proven faithful, loving, and totally true to all his
    promises." - David Wilkerson.

"Likewise today, some Christians are content to merely exist
until they die. They don't want to risk anything, to believe God,
to grow or mature. They refuse to believe his Word, and have
become hardened in their unbelief. Now they're living just to die."
    -David Wilkerson.

Thanks for the reply Steve, amen. He was one of the few well known preachers that I had a lot of respect for.

"How quickly we forget God's great deliverances in our lives. How
easily we take for granted the miracles he performed in our past."

How true are the words above. God parted the Red Sea for Israel right before their eyes, yet not much later they were grumbling about eating the manna from heaven that God provided for them. Would sand have been better to eat ?

Jesus healed ten lepers and yet only one came back to thank Him.

Jesus has miraculously healed many of us, and even preformed other miracles for us, YET we wonder a little later if He will take care of us.

We are all blind and weak and the only requirement is that we confess this to The Lord.

      Matthew 17 -Jesus Heals a Demon-Possessed Boy

14 When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. 15 Lord, have mercy on my son, he said. He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. 16 I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.

17 You unbelieving and perverse generation, Jesus replied, how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me. 18 Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, Why couldn't we drive it out?

20 He replied, Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

The words of verse 17 should cause us to fear God.

Mark 9 - Jesus Heals a Boy Possessed by an Impure Spirit

14 When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them. 15 As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.

16 “What are you arguing with them about? he asked.

17 A man in the crowd answered, Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. 18 Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.

19 “You unbelieving generation, Jesus replied, how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.

20 So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.

21 Jesus asked the boy's father, How long has he been like this?

“From childhood, he answered. 22It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.

23 If you can? said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.

24Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!

25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. You deaf and mute spirit, he said, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.

26 The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, He's dead. 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.

28 After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, Why couldn't we drive it out?

29 He replied, This kind can come out only by prayer.

This poor father had some belief, or he would not have brought his son to the disciples. Jesus was not desiring the man to deny that he did not have any unbelief and then state how much he believed.

We are not forgiven sin by denying we have sin, we are forgiven sin by confessing we have sin.

The poor man confessed his unbelief and asked Jesus to help his unbelief. Jesus did help his unbelief by healing his son.

Which was the greater miracle ? Healing the boy, or getting his father to confess his unbelief and give him faith in God by healing his son ?

29 He replied, This kind can come out only by prayer.

ALSO: we should see that some things require much prayer and we need to keep praying and trusting The Lord Jesus to help us.

Hi Karl, it is so nice to see you here. We missed you for some time. Please do not make yourself so scarce again.

I met David years ago in person in Canton Ohio. I am thankful that The Lord ministered to you through him.
