Islam works because it is about works even if it disciples are uncertain of there status after death. Muhammad founded a religion, though it be one designed by satan, to derail Christianity. If it were not for the faith and actions of the eye witnesses called Apostles who were filled with the Holy Ghost no one would have ever known that Christ made the New Covenant. Amazing, the LORD Jesus left the outcome of everything He accomplished in the hands of men and the Holy Ghost.

Thanks or the reply Glen, thought provoking comment.

The Lord left the outcome in the hands of men, or so it would seem.

BUT these men had given their life to The Lord Jesus and His Holy Spirit was in control of them.

BUT what a humble God we serve that would leave it appear that mere men were in control.

Today's church and Islam unfortunately have alot in common with each other, and that is why many who do not study either one can't tell the difference. If someone doesn't walk with Christ and talk with him, then they are of no value proclaiming the gospel. And their gospel is meaningless. But it might appear to have works, just as Islam sometimes appears to have works. And people can't tell the difference. God says we are supposed to be the salt of the earth. It should be obvious that we are different. When we don't let God change us, then we are no different. And that's why there's such a strong pull for other religions, or why do we have to have religion.

Right, Tom. There is a strong push by religious humanists to embrace pluralism, which says that all or at least many paths lead to God. To our flesh that sounds loving and tolerant, but it's not true and holy. It is mixing truth with lie, and putting lies for truth. The mixture is confusion, which our holy God abhors; taking what is holy and making it common. All are commanded to obey the Gospel of our Lord. It is the only good news for man. But the flesh thinks it knows better than God, and puts the self before His word.
