  • Why don't a lot of preachers preach on the Book of The Revelation ?

    Simply because most of them do not understand the first thing about The Revelation.

    Many reveal their ignorance by calling the Book, The Book of Revelations. It is NOT about God revealing future events, but it is about The Revelation OF Jesus, NOT The Revelations FROM Jesus. Notice the title of the book is singular not plural. Look at the very first verse: 1 The revelation of Jesus Christ. This is from the NIV 1985 edition. This has been changed by political men who changed the word OF to FROM.

    Also the book is not about the future, but it contains the Revelation of Jesus that started “in the beginning” and continues into the future of His coming back to the earth.

    Also The Lord tells us the book is about the Him revealing Himself in the past, present, and future in this verse:

    8

    “I am the Alpha and the Omega,”

    says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come,

    the Almighty.”

    Most are looking for four horsemen that will bring war, famine and disease upon the earth. This took place in the garden when Jesus told Adam and Eve that they brought war, famine and disease upon the world with their sin.

    Does anyone think the world has been without war, famine, and disease. When Cain killed Able was that not Cain waging war upon his own brother.

    Genesis 3

    NOTE: here we have the Lord riding into the garden on a White Horse wearing a crown and holding a bow. He shoots three arrows into Satan, then Eve, and then Adam. The arrows are WAR, FAMINE, and DISEASE.

    8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”

    10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

    11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”

    12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”

    13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”

    The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

    14 So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this,

    “Cursed are you above all livestock
    and all wild animals!
    You will crawl on your belly………DISEASE
    and you will eat dust……………….FAMINE
    all the days of your life.
    15 And I will put enmity
    between you and the woman,…..WAR
    and between your offspring and hers;
    he will crush your head,
    and you will strike his heel.”

    16 To the woman he said,

    “I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;
    with painful labor you will give birth to children……………DISEASE
    Your desire will be for your husband,…………………………….FAMINE
    and he will rule over you.”……………………………………………WAR

    17 To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’

    “Cursed is the ground because of you;
    through painful toil you will eat food from it
    all the days of your life………………………………………….WAR
    18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you,…………..FAMINE
    and you will eat the plants of the field.
    19 By the sweat of your brow
    you will eat your food
    until you return to the ground,
    since from it you were taken;
    for dust you are
    and to dust you will return.” ………………………………The final DISEASE, DEATH
