  • The Creation - Genesis 1

1st of all, let me say that I have been seeking The Lord about Genesis 1 for 39 years. I have confessed to the Lord that this is way beyond me and asked Him to help my blind eyes see. When the Lord answered me and revealed things to me, I still did not accept them, but asked for confirmation over and over again, year after year.

The Lord did answer me and confirmed these truths time after time. He proved these truths to me by the scriptures and then confirmed them by the truths revealed in His creation.

    Psalm 19 NIV 1984

For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. 2 Day after day they pour forth

speech; night after night they display knowledge. 3 There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. 4

Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the

sun, 5 which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course. 6 It rises at

one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat. 7 The law of the LORD is

    perfect,
reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. 8 The precepts of the LORD

are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. 9 The fear of the LORD I

is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous. 10 They are more precious than

    gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. 11 By them is your servant warned;

in keeping them there is great reward. 12 Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults. 13 Keep your servant

also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression. 14 May the

words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
We can see several truths in this psalm from The Holy Spirit through David:

1 - The heavens declare the glory of God

2 - The sun is a shadow of The Lord Jesus Christ

3 - The laws of The Lord are perfect and trustworthy

Now since the creation is God's creation, we can depend on the truth it declares.

God created the Sun and decided to make it a shadow of Himself. ( or a type of The Lord Jesus)

The laws of The Lord are perfect and perfection never needs to change. For if it is ever found lacking and not useful then it is not perfect at all.

The laws of the Lord are trustworthy - Can you trust something that might change in any second. Do you want to walk across a bridge that might suddenly change and disappear.

We can trust the laws of the Lord because they are from Him. They never change. If God allowed one law to change, then how would you know that another law would not change.

If the law of gravity would ever change, then how would you know that the law of forgiveness would also not change.

God has promised us that he never has changed and never will change.

    Numbers 23:19New International Version (NIV)

19 God is not human, that he should lie,
not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill?
    Hebrews 13:8New International Version (NIV)

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
    James 1:17New International Version (NIV)

17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Mere men justify their doctrines by saying that God changed His laws to make Genesis 1 come out right. That is not necessary for a perfect creation, but is necessary for an imperfect doctrine.

In this study which I have never wrote down before, I do ask that you ask questions. Please ask many questions so that I will know that you are taking part to encourage my weakness. Also ask questions so that I will know what part you are having a problem seeing.

Remember I took almost 40 years to see this, do not expect to understand it in 40 minutes.

Also I ask that no one studies this subject for a few hours and days and makes dogmatic statements about it. I would ask you to study the subject for at least a few years before making up your mind.

In fact I would suggest that you do not make up your mind at all. But leave The Lord reveal to you the Truth. It does no good to pray and ask The Lord to reveal the truth to you, if you then do not wait upon His answer and make up your own mind instead. I find this is done very often by many people.

    So to review:

1 - The heavens declare the glory of God - and the glory of God is truth - the glory of God can be trusted

2 - The sun is a shadow of The Lord Jesus Christ - The sun is our only source of natural light, just as Jesus is our only source of spiritual light. - the whole solar system revolves around the sun, just as we revolve around the Lord Jesus - The sun is most of all of the material in our world - just as Jesus is everything to us - The moon follows the sun across the sky - just as the church is to follow Christ

3 - The laws of The Lord are perfect and trustworthy - These laws display the nature of God and His nature is perfect and trustworthy - remember God created these laws to declare His glory to us.

    Grace to you

Genesis 1 is a brief introduction of The Lord's plan for our salvation

How does any good author start his book ? Does he not start by giving a quick introduction of what the book is about and cover the main points that he is going to write about.

What is the Bible about? -Is it about time and 24 hour days - or is it about The Lord Jesus Christ and how God was born of a woman to become a man to die for our sins.

The Bible is about God becoming flesh and sacrificing Himself for our sins so that we would know that He loves us.

So Genesis 1 must introduce us to this fact.

    John, wrote this to us:

    1 john 1
    The Word of Life
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched--this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We write this to make our joy complete.
So John reminds us that he walked, talked, seen, heard, and touched Jesus.

    1 john 4
    Test the Spirits
1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
Is this true ? Do you really believe what John wrote ?

This means that if Genesis 1 does not proclaim that God came in the flesh to shed His blood for us, it is NOT from God at all.
Of course Genesis 1 is from God. So we know that it must proclaim that God came in the flesh to die for us.

If someone's interpretation of Genesis 1 does not proclaim that God came in the flesh, it is simply not true.

If any interpretation of Gen 1 does not proclaim that the Sun is a type of Christ, it is not true.

If an interpretation does not proclaim that God's law's never change it is not true.

If any doctrine does not proclaim that the truth about the creation declares the glory of God, it is not true.

I might add that I do not know of any more important chapter in The Holy Scriptures that Genesis 1. In Genesis 1 God gives us a brief introduction to the whole plan that God had for mankind.

How else do you think Paul wrote this:

    Ephesians 1
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
Now that truth destroys many false doctrines and many false cults. But how did Paul know that this was true.

Paul seen most of his revelations in the Old Testament - Of course it was The Holy Spirit that pointed these truths out to Paul.

I propose that Paul seen this truth in Genesis 1. Just as Paul seen many other truths in that chapter.

    Grace to you

      In the beginning God

      Genesis 1

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
The very first thing that God tells us is that he was already here in the beginning. What could God tell us that is more important than this.

      Psalm 90:2

      Living Bible
Before the mountains were created, before the earth was formed, you are God without beginning or end.
      Psalm 102:25

      New International Version
In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
      Isaiah 40
      21 Do you not know?
      Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood since the earth was founded?
22 He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth,
and its people are like grasshoppers.
He stretches out the heavens like a canopy,
and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
      Isaiah 45:21

      1599 Geneva Bible
Tell ye and bring them, and let them take counsel together, who hath declared this from the beginning, or hath told it of old? Have not I the Lord? and there is none other God beside me, a just God, and a Savior: there is none beside me.
      Micah 5:2
      1599 Geneva Bible
And thou Bethlehem Ephrathah art little to be among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me, that shall be the ruler in Israel: whose goings forth have been from the beginning and from everlasting.
John 1 New International Version (NIV)

      The Word Became Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
      Acts 15:18

      Living Bible
That is what the Lord says, who reveals his plans made from the beginning.
So we see here that God revealed His plans from the very beginning.

      2 Timothy 1:9
      New International Version
He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

      Titus 1:2

      New International Version
in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time,
      Hebrews 1:10
      King James Version
And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
      1 John 1:1
      King James Version
      That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
      Revelation 1:8
      King James Version
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty
Many so called Holy books contradict themselves. But we see here that The Bible does not.

We look at a tree and we can see that the tree did not create itself. For we see that another tree brought forth a seed that the tree grew from. So something outside of the tree created the tree.

We look at a mighty river and we can see that the river did not create itself. For if we follow the river from it's mouth, we see other smaller rivers flow into it and form that mighty river. We follow the smaller rivers and see that creeks flow into them and form them. We follow the creeks and see that other very small streams flow into them and form them. We see that the snow on the mountain melts to form those very small streams. The snow falls from the sky that makes the snow. So something OUTSIDE of the mighty river creates it.

Some men worship the sea. But the sea did not create itself. We know that there were no seas on the earth long ago. The earth formed the seas and they did not create themselves.

We look at a lion and see that it came from another lion. It did not create itself. Further the lion is hunted and killed by mere men. So the lion has no control over it's creation. The lion can not provide food for itself to eat.

Some are so foolish to think themselves to be God. But all mere man have a father and a mother that they came from. They did not create themselves. Not only that but whole nations have been destroyed by other mere men, and those nations that destroyed another nation are then destroyed themselves. So no mere man is the Creator.

Men worship the earth and call it mother. That is just plain ignorance. For we have seen with our own eyes that Jupiter was hit by some very small objects and the hole left in Jupiter was the size of the earth. So we can see that it would not take a very large object to destroy this earth. We also know that the earth was not here not long ago. The universe was here long before the earth was even formed. So the earth did not create itself and it can not be our mother.

      The Bible agrees with this:

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
God clearly tells us that the earth was not formed in the beginning, but was formed later.

So some worship the stars. But we see stars die continually. We know that our own star was not formed in the beginning, but is a fairly young star. It was formed from other stars. So it did not create itself.

We also know that there was a time when no stars existed yet. No star created itself. For we see stars being formed as we live today. They can not form without the four forces of the universe (gravity being one) So no star created itself.

We also know there was time when there was nothing that existed. We see the evidence of a BIG BANG when all the matter and energy of the universe was created. So we KNOW that no matter or energy created itself.

If the universe had a BEGINNING it also had to have a BEGINNER.

Just as the trees, rivers, lions, men, planets, stars had something outside of themselves to create them, the universe had to have something outside of itself to create it.

THIS IS THE SIMPLE LESSON THAT THE WHOLE OF CREATION TEACHES US IF WE WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH

Moses did not write that the world was held up by four large elephants which were all on the back of a giant tortoise.

Think about this ! What are the odds of a man writing this true fact about how the universe began.

Not only that but God has left a record written on the creation itself by the light given off by the BIG BANG.

So we know that the BIG BANG was how the universe started.

That agrees with what a mere man wrote 3500 years ago on a mountain top in the Sinai.

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Think about what all is included in the heavens and the earth. You can not name anything that is natural that is not included. So in the beginning God created everything that is matter and energy.

That is exactly what the record left by the big bang reveals.

So the creation and the Holy Scriptures agree.

I find it impossible for me to believe that some mere man wrote this down by coincidence 3500 year ago.

How many thousands of things could Moses have written down. In fact how many other stories of creation are there that do not agree with this. They should show us that a mere man could write down many things that were not true. But Moses wrote down the truth that was not known by any mere man at that time.

This is very strong evidence that this verse was written by The Creator Himself. For who else would have known this 3500 years ago.

You will see that the evidence that The Creator left us is overwhelming to prove to us that He created everything that exists, just as He says.

I have several of Ivan Panin's books. Since I can not copy and paste from these books, I will copy this article about Ivan's book about the first verse of Genesis 1.

Ivan Panin was an atheist and a world famous mathematician. He was famous for discovering that the world of nature was full of math patterns. Everything he studied had math patterns in it.

So he decided that if the world was created by God and the Bible was written by God; if "creation was full of math patterns so should the Bible be full of them. For they both would be by the same Author.

Panin did this to disprove that Bible and prove that God did not exist.

He decided that since the Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek and these were the only two major languages where the characters stood for letters and numbers; he simply let the letters stand for numbers instead and added them up. He was truly stunned by the result. He found math patterns in every passage.

So Panin looked at other works to see if these had any math patterns. He could not find math patterns in any of the other works. He started calculating the odds of this taking place by chance. They were so astronomical that he realized it was virtually impossible to take place by chance.

So Panin was left with no choice but to accept that The Bible was written by God, and the same God created the universe.

So instead of proving there was no God, he proved to himself that there was a God and he wrote The Bible. So he became a Christian.

He published 43,000 pages of these math patterns in the Bible.

The Astonishing Pattern of SEVENS in Genesis 1:1

(from "The Signature of God" by Grant R. Jeffrey)

        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1)

Ivan Panin carefully examined the Hebrew text of Genesis 1:1 and discovered an incredible phenomenon of multiples of 7 that could not be explained by chance. Genesis 1:1 was composed of seven Hebrew words containing a total of 28 letters. Throughout the Bible the number seven appears repeatedly as a symbol of divine perfection—the 7 days of creation, God rested on the 7th day, the 7 churches, the 7 seals, the 7 trumpets, etc. In total, Panin discovered 30 separate codes involving the number 7 in this first verse of the Bible.

A Partial Listing of the Phenomenal Features of Sevens Found in Genesis 1

        1

The number of Hebrew words = 7

        2 The number of letters equals 28 (7x4 = 28)
3 The first 3 Hebrew words translated "In the beginning God created" have 14 letters (7x2 = 14)
4 The last four Hebrew words "the heavens and the earth" have 14 letters (7x2 = 14)
5 The fourth and fifth words have 7 letters
6 The sixth and seventh words have 7 letters
7 The three key words: God, heaven and earth have 14 letters (7x2 = 14)
8 The number of letters in the four remaining words is also 14 (7x2 = 14)
9 The shortest word in the verse is the middle word with 7 letters
10 The Hebrew numeric value of the first, middle and last letters is 133 (7x19 = 133)
11 The Hebrew numeric value of first and last letters of all seven words is 1393 (7x199 = 1393)

When professors on the mathematics faculty at Harvard University were presented with this biblical phenomenon they naturally attempted to disprove its significance as a proof of divine authorship. However, after valiant efforts these professors were unable to duplicate this incredible mathematical phenomenon. The Harvard scientists used the English language and artificially assigned numeric values to the English alphabet. They had a potential vocabulary of over 400,000 available English words to choose from to construct a sentence about any topic they chose. Compare this to the limitations of word choices in the biblical Hebrew language which has only forty-five hundred available word choices that the writers of the Old Testament could use. Despite their advanced mathematical abilities and access to computers the mathematicians were unable to come close to incorporating 30 mathematical multiples of 7 as found in the Hebrew words of Genesis 1:1.

The number "seven" permeates the totality of Scripture because the number speaks of God's divine perfection and perfect order. The actual number 7 appears 287 times in the Old Testament (7 x 41 = 287) while the word "seventh" occurs 98 times (7 x 14 = 98). The word "seven-fold" appears seven times. In addition, the word "seventy" is used 56 times (7 x 8 = 56).

Ivan Panin discovered literally thousands of such mathematical patterns underlying all of the books of the Old Testament before his death in 1942. I refer the interested reader to Panin's book, The Inspiration of the Scriptures Scientifically Demonstrated, which discusses these phenomena extensively. Panin and others have examined other Hebrew literature and have attempted to find such mathematical patterns, but they are not found anywhere outside the Bible.
The mathematical odds of this happening by random chance are simply astronomical.

Not only could they find no other book where this takes place, but math experts could not write anything that did this.

        Grace to you

            Thanks for the feedback Steve.

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
I thought there might be some questions about the first verse.

I find it amazing that what God has revealed to men, that study his creation; and what he inspired men to write 3500 years ago do agree with precision.

What was created - the heavens and the earth - that is everything in this material universe - there is nothing that exists in the material world that is not included - so that would be all matter and energy.

When was it created - in the beginning - how long is the beginning - only an instant of time

That is exactly what mere men have discovered by the record left by the light of that big bang in the very first instant of time.

So if the creation and the Holy Scriptures agree on this - why do these same men not see that the rest of the verse is also true. - that is the fact that is was God who created the heavens and the earth.

One of the things that stops many from believing the Holy Scriptures is the fact that so many in the church insist that all science is wrong about the creation. They say that the big bang is error. They make this conclusion without any study of the facts of what God has revealed by His creation.

When in fact the first verse of Genesis describes The Big Bang perfectly and was written 3500 years ago.

So the many men of science and the much of the public consider the Holy Scriptures a fairly tale.

They do not examine the Holy Scriptures - and much of the church does not examine the creation.

They both think that the two disagree - when in fact they agree.

After all the creation of God and the Holy Scriptures of God both have to agree, or they are not from Him.

Arrogance is the root of the problem on both sides.

Some men of science are so arrogant they assume that the Holy Scriptures are not true because of a misinterpretation that is proclaimed by many. That is arrogant to think this way. For there has certainly been misconceptions in science and they did not then throw out the whole study of the creation because of these errors. But they looked at the creation even closer to find the truth.

Obviously then to find the truth in the Holy Scriptures would require the same kind of careful approach, instead of writing off the Holy Scriptures as mere legend.

But many in he church are guilty of the same arrogance. They assume that all science is error and that their doctrines are infallible. No doctrine is infallible. It is The Holy Scriptures that are correct, not the interpretation of them be mere men.

I have found that one thing points to men who are in error.

That is their arrogance. When any man or group mocks those who disagree with them, that is sign that they are in error. For arrogance is not from God and He tells us not to mock others.

I find that this arrogance is shown by many people in science and many that proclaim the young earth position.

But I also know many men of science that are humble and examine things with great care. I also know men that believe the young earth position that are humble and treat those who disagree with them with respect.

I am reminded of a man who called himself Doctor Dino. He presented himself as having a doctorate in the study of dinosaurs. He constantly mocked anyone who did not believe that the six days of creation were 24 hour earth days as having no faith. When in fact he was a total fraud. He certainly did not have any doctorate in the study of dinos, and in fact had no doctorate in any field.

I also remember a man on another blog that held the young earth position. But he treated those who disagreed with respect and acted with humility. He was a pleasure to discuss these things with.

The mathematical odds of this happening by random chance are simply astronomical.

Not only could they find no other book where this takes place, but math experts could not write anything that did this.

                  Grace to you

The Amazing First Verse of the Bible

I didn't know where this info came from. This, what you have here, is beyond amazing. Thank you for bringing this to us. It is really something when a genius atheist puts the full power of his God-given mind to disproving God and the opposite happens. Hallelujah!! I am pondering that there is possibly no greater irony.

                    Lou,

Interesting observations regarding our dire need and dependence upon both the sun and our Lord Jesus.

You pointed out above that our sun is a fairly young star and that it was formed by matter coming from other stars. Are you drawing a correlation between the fact that Jesus came thousands of years after God created Adam & Eve? If so, is another correlation that the physical body of Jesus came through an earthly mother? (Mary) In other words, the Creator of the Universe decided back in eternity past that he would willingly be born of a woman and humbly enter the human race to atone for our sins? So he chose a fairly young star to represent Himself in the heavenlies as a testimony to The Gospel story? That is, he allowed that star (our sun) to be made from matter coming from older stars (that he created ages ago). Much in the same way that Jesus's physical body came through human ancestors, tracing all the way back to the beginning (Adam & Eve).

                      This one's for Karl...

Eight is the number of new life or "resurrection." It is the personal number of Jesus. When we add together the letter values of the name Jesus in the Greek we get 888. Jesus was called The Christ, the numeric value of this title is 1480 (185 x 8). He was Savior which has the value 1408 (2 x 8 x 88).

Jesus is also Lord which again is a multiple of eight being 800 (100 x 8). Messiah has the numeric value 656 (82 x8). Jesus also called himself the Son of man. The term occurs 88 times and is valued at 2960 (370 x 8).

Jesus said "I am the truth": the numeric value of "the truth" is 64 (8 x 8). The last book in the Bible is the Revelation of Jesus Christ which has exactly 888 Greek words. Eight persons were saved in the Ark at the great Noahic flood. God made a covenant with Abraham that every male Jewish child was to be circumcised on the eighth day of his life.

There are eight individual cases of resurrection spoken of in the Bible apart from Jesus. Three occur in the Old Testament, three in the gospels and two in Acts. It was on the eighth day or the first day of the new week that Jesus rose from the dead. The Holy Spirit also came down from heaven on the eighth day.

How could a Shepard write this 3500 years ago.

Panin was truly seeking to find the truth. To desire truth is to love truth. Jesus is truth.

Panin just found what he was looking for. He did not realize that Jesus was truth, but found that He was.

Jesus promises that if we seek truth we will find it.

Panin was different from the Pharisees. They felt totally sure that they already knew the truth. So they looked no further, and so did not find the truth.

                          Yes amen Blane.:D

Of course we are speaking of the Christ, or Jesus the man of flesh; not Jesus who was also God Almighty. For God of course has no beginning. But Jesus The Christ was born of a woman and descended from Adam.

Of course it was the fact that Jesus came in the flesh that revealed God to men. It was also this fact that saved men from their sins.

Blane you just made my year. I do not desire to give information out for others to absorb. But I desire to teach others to learn how to learn these things from The Lord Himself. I am 71 and will not be here a lot longer.

This is a very difficult thing to do. For most people just want to be hand fed and not work to learn from the Lord Himself.

I am thankful that there are some here that want to learn how to see from The Lord Himself

I have never had such pleasure having someone post my punch line before I could do so. Please keep this up !!!!!!!!!!!

I get discouraged when someone disagrees with something that I have sought the Holy Spirit on for 40 years, after they have thought about it for 40 minutes. I really like to get questions about these things, but desire that some would have more patience to seek The Lord about anything they do not fully understand instead of rejecting it so quickly. For once they voice their rejection it makes it difficult for them to see the truth.

I am very thankful right now.

Isaac Newton changed the world. Isaac said he stood on the shoulders of giants. Johannes Kepler was one of those giants he referred to. Kepler found the mathematical formula that showed how the planets revolved around the Sun. Men had sought for this for thousands of years. Kepler found these formulas because he found the same truth in the Bible that the Lord showed me. That is the fact that the Sun is a shadow of Christ.

Kepler was so sure of this fact that he endured 20 years of searching based on this fact. 20 years is a long time. He had to be very sure. It was this fact alone ( that the sun was a shadow of Christ) that led to Kepler's success.

Further it was great risk to believe that the Sun was at the center of the solar system. For to disagree with the Pope was a very dangerous thing.

Without Kepler's three laws we would not have all of Newton's discoveries on gravity that changed the world.

Once we truly see that the Sun is a shadow of Christ; the whole popular 24 hour earth day creation is blown away.

For instance; there is no way to have life without Christ. So plants could NOT precede the Sun in the creation like so many teach.

For the creation declares the glory of God - to teach it is possible to have life without Christ is simply blasphemy.

The creation story reveals the nature of God and the fact that he would come in the flesh to save us from our sins.

After all, God's laws that can not change or be broken are far above mere interpretations of mere men.

The whole Bible teaches that you can not have life without Christ. Jesus is life.

God can not lie, and He certainly did not start with a lie in the 1st chapter.

Many men would rather make God a liar than confess that they are wrong.

Many books could be filled with examples like this.

Ivan Panin simply proved mathematically that the Holy Scriptures were entirely true.

If you covered the whole earth in BB's 10 feet deep, with just one black BB among the copper ones. It would be easier to be blindfolded and reach in and grab that one black BB than it would be to write a book like the Bible with all the math patterns that it contains.

Oh no, Lou! I'm a spoiler! Sorry, brother.

Amen to this. For a long time I thought Jesus was truth, but a metaphysical one. I thought one had to ferret out the wisdom and philosophy of the Bible and enjoy the rest as the colorful, quaint, tall tales of a superstitious people lacking our modern sophistication. We know how things tick nowadays!

Yeah, I had my own arrogance thing going, too, and it blinded me at length. Yet when I sought truth I found it. "Seek, and ye shall find." I had no idea what an understatement that scripture is.
