JESUS WALKED AND TALKED WITH MEN FROM THE GARDEN RIGHT AND ALL THROUGHOUT THE OT TIMES

What is one of the central errors of cults. Is it not that they focus around some false prophet who claims to speak with God. I was watching about the Moron cult that centered around a man with the last name of Jess; everyone in that cult gave him total obedience to the point that they would let him sexually abuse their own children.

How do people get that crazy. It was all about him claiming that God spoke to him and they had to follow what God told him. For to disobey him, was disobeying God. Of course the man was as deceived as they all were.

The error that causes these cults, is that most believe that God does not walk and talk to people here on the earth. BUT no one needs to seek a man who God talks to. For God desires to walk and talk to everyone that will seek Him.

Jesus calls us His Bride. Not just His sister. Jesus has very good reason for everything He says.

No man wants another man to teach his bride how to make love to him. Every man wants to teach his bride how to make love himself. The man that teaches the bride of another becomes a curse to the bridegroom. Just as these false prophets become a curse themselves.

Jesus constantly warned not to follow any mere man. That does not leave any man without direction; for Jesus told us that He would lead us Himself. He gave us His Holy Spirit to LIVE RIGHT INSIDE OF OUR SPIRIT. So Jesus is living inside of you, IF you have surrendered your life to Him. So help could not be any closer than He is.

But God never changes, He is the same today as He was long ago. He was the same long ago as He is today.

Let's look at how God walked and talked with mere men in The Holy Scriptures:

    Genesis 1
    New International Version (NIV)

    The Beginning

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
We see here that God was not far away even before He created mankind. He was hovering over the waters (this may be the matter in space that became our sun and the rest of the solar system)

But the important thing is that God was PERSONLLY involved. He did not create a place for us by sending someone else to do it. God created it all Himself. Just as He does not want to send someone to teach you. For Jesus desires to teach you Himself.

When you read my articles, you should be seeking Jesus and asking Him if they are from Him. For if they are from me, they are of no value. Seek Jesus and walk and talk with Him. For you are His Bride.

As we read the rest of Genesis 1, we see that God was personally involved at every step.

    Gen 2
Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
You can not get much more personal that God did when He breathed the breath of life into man.

Gen 2:15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”
Notice here that God did NOT send an angel or a prophet, who was another man, to speak to the man, but God spoke to Him personally.

Gen 2:19 Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals.
We see here that God did this personally. He did not send someone else to do this.

But for Adam no suitable helper was found. 21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
NOTICE again The Lord did not send someone, but did this all Himself.

Gen 3: 8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
Some things to take note of here:

1- God did not come into the garden as some spirit that could not be seen with eyes, or heard with ears. They heard God walking in the garden.

2- We also see that God must have done this often for them to KNOW WHO IT WAS WALKING IN THE GARDEN EVEN BEFORE THEY SEEN ANYONE.

3- God noticed right away that Adam and Eve reacted to Him differently. They were now afraid of Him. Which means they must have come running up to Him before they ate of the tree. Otherwise there would have been nothing to notice that they did differently.

4- God was their friend before they ate of the tree. He walked and talked with them, maybe everyday. But they knew Him well and they recognized Him and were not afraid of Him.

5- God did not look like some fearsome being. He looked like Adam for they were created in His image. This is why they were not afraid of Him. God looked like them, He walked like them, He talked like them.

WE FEAR ANYTHING DIFFERANT THAN OURSELVES - WE DO NOT FEAR MEN LIKE OURSELVES

I remember seeing an insect that looked like a very large ant down in Florida. It was about an inch long and bright orange and had strips and was furry. I was afraid to touch it, for it was different. I had fear because I was not familiar with it.

Here is a photo of one:

    Cow_Ant.JPG

It was a good thing I was afraid to touch it. They are not ants, but wasps with no wings. Their sting is so painfull that people used to believe that they killed cows. So they called them cow ants.

Why was I afraid. Because it was VERY DIFFERENT from anything I had seen before. It was very bright so it would stand out as DIFFERENT. "Do not touch" is the warning that is all over it. I have never been stung by one and I am very content to never know about it's sting.

Why do we fear lions. They are a DIFFERENT size and shape than we are. We do not have teeth and claws like that. Why do we fear spiders, because they are so much different than us.

WE FEAR THE UNFAMILIAR - WE DO NOT FEAR THE FAMILIAR IF IT IS LIKE US

We even fear men if they are different than us. We do not fear men that are like us.

If God revealed that a man who is a stranger was a very good Christian like you, you would not fear him.

If you were in North western Iraq right now and seen a man with a turbine, beard, and carrying an AK47, you would fear him. For he is of a different faith that desires to kill Christians. We fear men that are different than us.

Adam was not afraid of God because He was like him, or looked like a man. Really it is man that looks like God. God created us in His image.

There are going to be many posts in this thread. For God appeared to many men all throughout the OT.

GOD WANTS TO WALK AND TALK WITH YOU

JESUS CALLS US HIS BRIDE - how close does a man desire to be with his new bride.

JESUS CALLS US HIS BODY - no man can hate his own body. Any man loves his own body and cares for it.

    Daniel 3 KJV
13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king. 14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up? 15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? 16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. 17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. 20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. 27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. 29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.
Well this is one of my favorite scriptures and it was defiantly The Lord Jesus that met the three in the fire of the furnace.

Ex 19:18 Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the Lord descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain trembled violently. 19 As the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and the voice of God answered him.

20 The Lord descended to the top of Mount Sinai and called Moses to the top of the mountain. So Moses went up 21 and the Lord said to him
God appeared on the mountain in fire when He met with Moses.

    Deuteronomy 4:20
    ◦New International Version
But as for you, the Lord took you and brought you out of the iron-smelting furnace, out of Egypt, to be the people of his inheritance, as you now are
It was The Lord Himself that saved Israel from the furnace of Egypt.

    Daniel 3
13 Furious with rage, Nebuchadnezzar summoned Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. So these men were brought before the king, 14 and Nebuchadnezzar said to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image of gold I have set up? 15 Now when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music, if you are ready to fall down and worship the image I made, very good. But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. Then what god will be able to rescue you from my hand?”
Nebuchadnezzar challenged God, not angels. So God Himself would answer, because Nebu asked what God could save them.

But it is really simple to prove that this was The Lord Jesus in the furnace:

1 - it was certainly not any mere man

2 - it was certainly not any demon. For no demon would give glory to God.

3 - it was certainly no mere angel. For the King said this being looked like the son of god. No angel would take the glory of that name without correcting the King.

4 - The King's description was never corrected then or even up till today.

That was because it was The Lord Jesus who saved the three in the furnace.

DO YOU WANT TO MEET JESUS PERSONALLY AND WALK AND TALK WITH HIM.

Pray for Him to have you tossed into the furnace and Jesus will appear to you in that furnace too.

    Matthew 3:11
    ◦New International Version
“I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
I asked Jesus to baptize me in fire when I was a young Christian. I did this not knowing how hard it would be. But it was all worth it, for I met Jesus face to face. He walked and talked with me face to face. I can look back today and say my hair was not burnt and my clothes did not smell of smoke.

But it if was not for His mercy and grace I would have failed and cried out right before I was tossed into the flames.
