    Instead the English words false gods or idols are used.
    Demon is used 82 times in the New Testament.

    Devil is also used 30 plus times in each of the translations other then the KJV.
    Combing the translated words for demon and devil for the KJV provides the 102 times devil appears in the KJV New Testament.

        We see the enemy admires the opposite of what The Lord tells us to think about.

        The Lord is Life - The enemy admires death

        The Lord is Truth - The enemy is the father of lies

        The Lord created a world of beauty - the enemy admires things that are not beautiful.

        The Lord tells us to look and think of things that are PURE. - The enemy tells everyone that a little bit of taint will not harm you.
