WOW, I am not alone. I also have always known that I am a man. I have never been confused, or thought I was a woman.

Thanks Barry. Pretty funny in this day and age.

I wish I had the bravery that he has. Especially in a predominantly homosexual city. I mean if he had stood up and declared himself a woman, it would have been normal. Looks a lot like two cities I read about somewhere.

Glad you guys liked it. I found the satire quite refreshing. Like all good satire it hits a serious issue with an attention-getting opposing force.

We are men. And women are women. I'm not on board with the movement to change our language to accommodate gender fluidity and non-specificity, either. I tried this language out years ago when the subculture was exerting its social tyranny in small groups. It only creates a personal minefield of offense and strife, and confusion. It will not improve by extending it to the general public.

I will resist. If it alienates me, so be it. My friends and family do not love me for my political correctness. I am respectful of personal differences and try to be gentle, but I prefer to draw the "No Step" line before the mud and quicksand. Just wait until the workplace begins sending employees to sensitivity training for not getting on board with the new "spirit of man, er...what are you again?" Then we may see some interesting clashes.
