  • This Is NOT "One Nation" and Never Was

Here is an excellent comment on an article, and a link to the article.

    Comment:
James Madison (Federalist #39 on the Constitution) "It is to be the assent and ratification of the several States, derived from the supreme authority in each State, the authority of the people themselves. The act, therefore, establishing the Constitution, will not be a national, but a federal act. That it will be a federal and not a national act, as these terms are understood by the objectors; the act of the people, as forming so many independent States, not as forming one aggregate nation, is obvious from this single consideration, that it is to result neither from the decision of a majority of the people of the Union, nor from that of a majority of the States"

In the Federalist #39 James Madison outlined what the purpose of the Constitution was and what it was NOT. I think many people would be surprised at what he wrote, assuring those like Patrick Henry and George Mason that they were NOT forming a single entity nation state but a loose UNION of SOVEREIGN INDEPENDENT STATES.
    End of comment.

Politicians at the federal level always try to sell the United States as a singular nation. Hillary Clinton, for example, peddled this myth during her speech at the 2016 Democratic National Convention: When representatives from 13 unruly colonies met just down the road from here, some wanted to stick with the king. Some wanted to

"Too much provision cannot be made against consolidation." - Fisher Aims, regarding the 10th Amendment

"When politicians like Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump start talking about America as one nation, they reveal their ignorance of the American constitutional system and history.

More importantly, talk of 'one nation' reveals a mindset rooted in a lust for power. It’s certainly easier to rule over and control 'one nation' than it is 50 unruly states. They want governopoly. We should resist them."

Yes Barry, I agree. We need to deflate the over inflated balloon of government power and give it back to the individual states. That way the people can be more involved with their own well being. Relying on the fed to care for us has proved lacking.

      Amen and amen Barry.

Democracy is simply two wolves and one sheep voting on who's for dinner.

Majority vote does NOT take away the rights of the minority.

We all have God given rights, that no one has the right to take away.

The civil war put a stop to slavery. But the evil that came out of it was the power it gave the federal government.

Roger dat, Steve. But it will take more than that, because the States are incorporated under the feds and they deny us lawful redress in their courts. I think with God's grace, and some serious (re)education, and commitment we can do it. And it seems we will have motivation to do so if things get as bad as the Great Depression. The New Deal was slavery. The wise would know in a heartbeat that a New New Deal would only double down on slavery.

Good comment, Lou. Two wolves and a sheep voting what's for dinner.

We don't derive our rights from a declaration. The documents created to limit government declares them specifically to draw the boundary for government, but it does not bind us. It binds government. We reserve all rights, period. Lawful government does not grant us rights, it protects the rights we already have.

Unfortunately, the carefully worded 13th Amendment of the Lincoln-term corporate constitution makes slaves of us all. "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction." This just makes slavery and involuntary servitude legal. Then they schooled us to think we are 14th Amendment citizens of the "one nation" (it used to say "under God", but not any more) and gained our consent by semantic deceit in secret contracts which are unlawful. Then they proceeded to declare us all enemy combatants in their jurisdiction, which are criminal by definition. Voila.

One of the mysteries has been: if we didn't apply for citizenship, how did we become citizens of the United States (which is defined as parcels, territories, and the insular states; NOT the several states of the union)? It was done by deceit and non-disclosure, and we the people didn't rebut the presumption. I hope that was kind of clear. I try to keep the descriptions brief, because it unpacks like popcorn.

Amen, no group of men can grant any right. Rights are granted by God alone. Governments can only protect rights that are granted by God.

OR in most cases governments try to take away rights that are granted by God.

            Genesis 1
26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

27 So God created man in his own image,
            in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29 And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

God gave man dominion over the plants and animals, NOT over other men.

Notice also God created them MALE and FEMALE. There are TWO genders, NOT over 30 as some mere men claim today. These foolish men ( that can not keep from going bald) claim to have more authority than God who created them.

Revolutions are started over people's rights being violated all throughout history. But like the frog in the water that slowly boils to death, we are carefully fed all this deception over a period of time in small easy to swallow portions and before we know it, we swallowed the whole thing. So here we are today and slowly our rights are drifting out the window and nobody seems to care enough to shut the window.

An important note from our history is that each state is a sovereign nation, or nation state. The original confederation was a loose union of nation states. This is clear from what many of the founding fathers wrote, in direct opposition to the notion of "one nation". A nation, they said, is an entity under the authority of a sovereign government. This defining quality was reserved to each and every of the several states.

The federal government was not sovereign (and still is not), it was severely limited. As Jefferson put it, we're to bind it down with the chains of the Constitution, because otherwise men would use it to seize and abuse power. The incorporation (conversion into a corporation) of the federal union was used to patiently, deceptively, subversively, and precisely to do just that.

In fact, it worked so well that the world rulers sought to do the same in Europe with the European Union. BREXIT upset the apple cart: possibly by design, to cause a panic and justify stricter measures which are currently in debate and planning. Recently a European Army has been proposed. Do you see the recipe repeating? Perhaps the EU will go to war against Great Britain and any nations that want to secede, as Lincoln's usurping union went to war against the sovereign states of the South.

Also we have the UAE and an anticipated Caliphate.

Russia and China and others have BRICS, which is not quite the same; but maybe worse because that is where the west's wealth is being funneled by the rat bankers who are abandoning that ship: and it is not a single entity against which one can contend when it transgresses grievously, which it will. We have seen this first hand with the Rothschild banks of the west, which are re-branding under BRICS, so we can expect more of the same.

Yes well soon and I mean very soon, we will wake up to a nation we no longer recognize and it will be third world like. People will be starving in the streets and nothing but the poor impoverished everywhere. EVERYONE will lose whatever money they have in the bank. Puff it will be gone overnight. Only hard assets or tangible goods will be valued. Cash will be accepted for a minute or two until people realize it is worthless. Then the pressure will be on all of us. Only the Lord can help us.

One thing for sure is this: those that trust in men, even though they be kings, will be disappointed. Those that trust in the Lord Jesus will never be disappointed.

Amen Lou. Everywhere in the scriptures it is plain and clear for all to see. Never trust in the arm of flesh, but only trust in the Lord. His right arm is capable to save. Ours, not so much. Blessings.

Amen. These last two posts remind me of a short video I saw today, which goes along with our recent study of 1 Samuel.

One could argue that the five smooth stones are shadows of the five fold ministry and David took them from the stream of water that had taken the rough stones and made them smooth with the water. The Lord uses the water of The Word to take away the rough edges of His servants. A smooth stone flies through the air much easier and so is not slowed down by the rough edges. So that smooth stone is much more effective than a rough one. David knew that smooth stones were found only in the stream of water. Just as The Lord's servants dwell in the water of The Word and are only found there.

I don't think there's any need for argument. There may be many facets that are in agreement. The Lord's wisdom is manifold. We can read the same story and get new revelations over and over. I have also heard connections regarding Goliath and his four brothers, and the number five symbolizing God's grace. This connection with the military specialty of Saul's tribe, of which he could probably boast, is a remarkable one.

Hi Barry. I did not put forth the above as an argument against the video, but as an addition to it. The video said nothing about the five smooth stones that David selected ( only that he did select five from the stream). I proposed what the meaning of the five smooth stones could be.
