  • Muslims have special firearm rights in Canada - you read that right

This is such stupidity that it is hard to believe that any human being could be this stupid.

A person born in Canada needs a license to be able to purchase a firearm of any kind. They need to pass firearm classes and then provide a photo for their license for ID purposes. This is so the license can not be used by someone that has not passed the license requirements.

BUT a Muslim does not have to provide a photo because it is against their religion. So a Muslim can get a license then that license can be used by many Muslims to purchase firearms.

I would like to turn this on its head. :) Licenses and registration for guns violate our rights. Registration is a form of slavery, you are forfeiting your rights to the registered property. Licensing is the practice of making something illegal, and then granting permission to break the law. Think "licentious".

In Switzerland the people are required to own at least one personal weapon and be qualified to use it.

How true Barry. The government has no right to require a license for a God given right. Our forefathers made it clear that the 2nd amendment did NOT give us the right to own a firearm, because that right was God given. The 2nd amendment was to make it clear that government had no right in getting involved in regulating God given rights. Our government has already tramped all over the 2nd amendment.

Rome became great when they were a Republic. The army was not a standing army, but everyone was required to defend the city when they were attacked. Rome ran into problems when they started the professional army. The citizens of Rome did not want to be in the army so they hired others to fight for them. The citizens then lost the ability to defend themselves and those they hired eventually sacked Rome.

Switzerland requires every able bodied male to serve in the military. Everyone has to train in the military and then they take their weapons home with them. Most homes have a full auto Steyr AUG rifle with 30 round magazines. No one is foolish enough to try home invasions in Switzerland.

But even more important, every nation in Europe was almost totally destroyed or very badly damaged in WW2, except Switzerland. Every nation in Europe lost millions of people including woman and children, except Switzerland. Our history books feed us the lie that it was the mountains that protected Switzerland. There are mountains all over Europe, the Balkans are full of them. But the mountains did not protect any other nation in Europe, why ?

It was NOT the mountains that protected Switzerland, it was the fact the every man had a rifle was was trained in it's use. Germany and other nations did not allow thier people to possess these weapons. So when you try to train a young man who has never held a rifle to shoot one, he is not very good even after the training. BUT when you you take a young man who has used a rifle most of his life, he becomes very skilled with it.

Switzerland had a very large store of the worlds gold in their banks. Hitler wanted that gold to finance his military. He sent Generals to talk to Switzerland to "borrow" that gold. Switzerland said the gold was not theirs to lend, it was the property of others who trusted their banks with their gold. After much discussion and getting nowhere, the NAZI General stood up and said, "What if we put a million man army on your border in a few days, what will you do then". The Swiss General stood up and said, We will have a million Swiss citizens go to our border, they will all shoot once and you will not have a million man army any more. The NAZI General stormed out of the room and left. He knew about the reputation of the ability of the Swiss people in marksmanship. An army has tanks etc, but it still comes down to the man with a rifle. The Swiss people possess and use firearms. They are very skilled with them. They have never been attacked to this very day.

BTW, the Swiss people also possess tanks an machine guns etc. The Federal Government does not possess these weapons but they are stored around the nation in every city, town and village. There are several advantages to this. The Swiss can mobilize their military in hours not weeks, and their Federal government can not bully them. The people possess the power.

That was the plan of our forefathers. They did not want any standing army that could give the Federal Government power over the people. The military was to be local militias. Large weapons like cannons were to be stored in towns and the local men were all to take part in the militia.

When our government made the military a professional military, that was a giant step in the people losing their power and the Federal Government becoming a bully. That took place because the Federal Government sent our young boys to die in a foreign war in Vietnam. The people cried out about that injustice, so a professional army was started. No citizen should be required to fight in a foreign war. No one under the age of 21 should be required to fight in any war. The problem was NOT the volunteer army, the problem was the US becoming involved in foreign wars.

BTW, when the leaders of Japan were discussing their attack on the US, they wanted to land troops on our west coast. But Yamamoto had been educated in the US and spoke up. He told them they did not understand. The people in Japan could not on weapons, but the people in the US all possess weapons. He told them if they landed troops on the west coast of the US, the US would have a rifle behind every blade of grass.

The largest standing army in the world during that time, was the citizens of the US who possessed firearms.
