  • What British Muslims Really Think

This man tries to be honest about the attitudes of British Muslims and he is surprised by the truth of the matter.

52 per cent of Britain’s three million Muslims think homosexuality should be illegal; 39 per cent think a woman should always obey her husband; 18 per cent sympathise with people who take part in violence against those who mock the Prophet; 4 per cent — that equates to about 100,000 Muslims — have ‘sympathy for people who take part in suicide bombing to fight injustice’. Oh, and if any of them knew someone was involved in supporting terrorism in Syria, just one in three would report it to the police. The other two million, then, would keep schtum.

The pole conducted by ICM research found that 4 per cent of the British Muslim population — that equates to about 100,000 Muslims — have ‘sympathy for people who take part in suicide bombing to fight injustice.’
The same pole found just 1% of all Brits have ‘sympathy for people who take part in suicide bombing to fight injustice.’ Guess what? The British population is 66,000,000 and 1% is 660,000 who have ‘sympathy for people who take part in suicide bombing to fight injustice’. Compare 100,000 to 660,000. Of course, this is only 560,000 non Muslims who have ‘sympathy for people who take part in suicide bombing to fight injustice.’ Is having sympathy for suicide bombers fighting for justice the same as supporting terrorist? It seems irrational that the bombing by a suicide bomber could have anything to do with injustice.

In the USA the observable evidence is many acts of terror are not by Muslims.

Subjective information gathered “in country” is determined by the prevailing atmosphere of the country. What the Muslim population expresses in England will be very different from what these same Muslims would express in a Muslim country. While this ICM polling data is cause for concern, the reality is far more extreme in my opinion, and as is the experience of those friends and family who have lived in England, France, and in Muslim countries.

But the problem is not Muslims. It is the apostasy of the rest of the population. Call it divine judgment. Having rejected YHWH shall we be slaves of Allah?

      Thanks for the reply Glen.

I agree that the true beliefs of Muslims is far more radical. But look at the interview they showed in the video. A person comes knocking on their door and then asks them these questions. While some of the questions were put in a sealed envelope, the Muslim being interviewed had no guarantee that his envelope would not be opened after the interviewer left his house. He knew his answers could be seen by others.

Under these circumstances few would tell their true feelings. Evidence that this to true is provided by polls taken in Muslim nations where up to 99% say they support suicide bombings. Also up to 99% say they believe those that leave the Muslim faith should be beheaded. They are more likely to give their true beliefs in a nation where most agree with them.

Of course in nations of Islam they are afraid to say they do not believe someone should be beheaded for leaving Islam. It just shows how threat of persecution will sway the answers they give.

I think the people who commit acts of terror in the US have much in common with Islam. They both agree that they have the right to kill someone that disagrees with them.

ANTIFA claims to be against NAZIS. But they have much in common with the NAZIS. Both groups think they have the right to commit violent acts against those that disagree with them. They believe in free speech for everyone that agrees with them, but not for those who disagree.

Violent acts which lack motivation are different than acts of terrorism.
Terrorist have an agenda conceived from their beliefs.
Violent acts which lack motivation are by those without hope.
For them, life has no purpose.
It might be supposed they are angry because life is not worth living.

These thoughts that you write may well be very true with many Muslims.

Another thought is this: they believe in a god that does not exist, or if their god is really a demon that hates them instead of loving them they are filled with hate because of it. People that were raised by parents that hate them have a very difficult thing to overcome. They may become hateful people themselves. Also people that worship a god that hates them are motivated toward hate. Their subconscious must think that if their god hates them then everyone on the earth must hate them. Their parents often encourage them to become suicide bombers and so they must feel that their parents hate them too.

Another perspective is this: they worship a god that can not walk or talk or act. They know when someone insults their god, that their god can not act, so they have to protect their god because their God can not protect itself.

People that worship idols get angry when their god is insulted for this reason. I have seen many professing Christians get angry when someone disagrees with their pet doctrine. This anger is often a sign that they are guilty of idolatry.

Those that worship the One True God do not get angry when He is insulted. We get very sad instead because we know that He walks and talks and acts. We know that the person who has insulted Him will be judged with justice that will be terrible if they do not repent.
