It's a privilege to be able to participate here. Thanks to Lou and the administrators for hosting this site. I look forward to learning and sharing with everyone.

Welcome Fisherman

We are trying to establish a place for anyone to come to know Jesus better.

We also do not want to fall into a place where there is a spirit of division or of argument. We do not want to focus on the things we disagree with, but we want to focus on The Lord Jesus and the fact that trusting in Him alone is the only way to salvation.

We encourage everyone to follow His golden rule. We hope everyone will think of this as they are posting. That is to speak to others as one would like others to speak to them.

If everyone does that, we will have a place where everyone shows respect to one another, instead of sayings things that put one another down.

For instance I feel it is far`better to ask a question of a person, than it is to state that they are wrong. If one examines the gospels they will see that is the way Jesus often pointed out that a person was wrong. He would simply ask them a question that pointed out how could what they said be true and the thing Jesus pointed out be true.

We need a core of believers to encourage others to do this, by following their behavior.
