  • H.R.4269 - Assault Weapons Ban of 2015

The traitorous House of Representatives has placed this bill on the table while we were enjoying our holiday.

Here is the Congressional Hotline switchboard 202-224-3121 where you can contact your state reps.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

If the people do not stand up and fight against this evil of our government trying to take away the 2nd amendment of our Bill of Rights, they will also lose the rest of the rights in the Bill of Rights. It is the 2nd that gives the people the power to protect the rest of the Bill of Rights.

I reviewed the resolution and all of the co-sponsors of the bill are Democrats who are probably pandering to their base constituents. It is a typical knee-jerk reaction to the San Bernardino terrorist attack. Incidentally - California has some of the most rigid firearms laws/restrictions in the entire country - none of which prevented the two terrorists from illegally obtaining the assault weapons, magazines and ammunition that were used.

1 - a semi auto rifle is NOT an assault rifle. This bill mislabels these rifles as assault rifles to get people to use their emotions instead of their brain. All assault rifles are FULL AUTO.

2 - France has a ban on semi auto rifles and that DID NOT stop the Muslims from murdering all of those people in Paris. They had FULL AUTO assault rifles.

3 - Mexico has a ban on the people owning any firearm. There is only one gun store in all of Mexico. You have to get a permit to even own a 22 pistol. Yet whole towns are murdered by the drug cartels and even the corrupt police.

4 - Chicago has the most strict laws against firearms and it also has by far the highest murder rate.

5 - the authors of our US Constitution were the same ones who paid with their blood, sweat, and treasure to establish our nation. They wrote the Bill of Rights and a MILITIA was NOT controlled by the government. Every town had a MILITIA and it was loyal to that town, not the state or nation.

6 - The writers of this bill are nothing but people with SPECIAL RIGHTS. They pass laws that they themselves do not have to obey. They drive around in armored SUV's with guards carrying FULL AUTO weapons. If they need them, you also need them to protect yourself from them.

7 - Obama, who is a TRAITOR to our nation wants to keep the citizens from owning guns to protect themselves. BUT he leaves in millions of Muslims who want to destroy our Republic and establish a religious dictator who rules by sharia law.

Lou - look at this for what it really is. It's purely a political ploy by liberals to demonize the evil, gun-loving Republicans who won't do anything to curb all of the terrible gun violence going on in this country. Here's what I am thinking this may also mean. All the rumors about Obama signing an Executive Order restricting firearms is really nothing more than a bunch of rhetorical bluster. The Democrats in Congress know Obama can do nothing drastic without Congressional approval, so all they are doing is trying to make political points with their base (low informed) voters. The initial wording of this resolution actually seems almost sophomoric or childish - "To regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to keep and bear arms is not unlimited, and for other purposes."

Hi Tom, I totally agree with this and did from the start. BUT we can not be complacent to any of these bills. I will make calls and send emails, and I hope everyone does the same.

              Great comments, guys.

The bill still has to get past the House and the Senate.

Executive Orders can be revoked by the SCOTUS even in a national emergency. This was done against President Truman when he grabbed factories by the power of the pen.

Unconstitutional laws can be nullified by states via the Tenth Amendment. There is a Nullification Movement underway in the states. If you're interested there is more info >here< and at Tenth Amendment Center. If God grants this country space for repentance, and blesses this movement, this could be a very interesting development to watch and support. (Still, I do not expect the hearts of the people to turn unless things get really desperate. Isa 26:10 Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.)

                You may be right, Tom.

Recall that Kerry signed the UN small arms treaty, though he had no right to. I don't know the schedule, but they are expected to make progress towards disarming the population.

Also, the following cities are charter members of the new Strong Cities Network: New York, Atlanta, Denver, Minneapolis. These will surely be shining cities of civilization, high surveillance, and high police presence. I would expect the rest of the country to be "open season", while in these cities staged victories against attackers will be the tune.
