TWO JAVELINA ATTACK WOMAN AND HER DOGS Two javelina attack Fountain Hills woman

    POSTED:May 07 2016 09:34AM MST
    UPDATED:MAY 07 2016 09:51AM MST

FOUNTAIN HILLS - Arizona Game and Fish workers say a Fountain Hills woman was attacked by a javelina while walking her dogs on Saturday evening.
The victim told authorities that a herd of javelina came out of a nearby wash, crossed the road, and attacked her and her two leashed dogs unprovoked.

Arizona Game & Fish spokesperson Amy Burnett says the woman lost her footing and fell to the ground as two of the javelina began biting her. The victim's husband and a neighbor helped to free the woman from the animals on the attack, and they brought her to safety using a two-by-four plank while the javelina continued to chase her down and attack her dogs.
The woman suffered several bites on her upper body and neck area. She had to undergo surgery, and is receiving rabies treatment as a precaution.
Game and Fish workers say they have strong evidence that illegal feeding of wildlife was a contributing factor in this attack. Game and Fish says two people in the nearby area were reportedly feeding javelina and coyotes as recently as a couple of months ago.
Workers say that six javelina were "lethally removed" for public safety reasons, in light of the recent attack. Burnett says that while attacks on humans are rare, but when they break out, the safety of the public is their main concern.

Burnett says it is important to never feed wildlife, and to keep a safe distance away and avoid interaction.

    Note from Lou:

This is an illustration of the insanity of PETA. They claim animals have the same rights as humans. This is NOT what The Bible teaches about animals.

We see here that these animals did not consider the rights of this woman. Animals are beasts and do not reason or consider right and wrong.

It seems this woman and her dogs had done nothing to provoke these javelina to attack her. She would probably have been killed if neighbors had not come to her rescue. Also she was not in some wilderness area but was close to her home when this took place.

Any animal that attacks a human should be put down so that their genes are not passed on. Also animals need to be hunted so that they fear men. When animals are not hunted they lose their fear of men and start to hunt men.

“And I will require the blood of anyone who takes another person’s life. If a wild animal kills a person, it must die. And anyone who murders a fellow human must die.” Genesis 9:5 New Living Translation

When this command of God is not followed, then murder will grow by leaps and bounds as it has in the US.

Trying to rid the nation of guns will not bring less murder. Ridding the nation of those who murder will.

It is also the most merciful thing for the person who committed the murder. It causes them to face up to the wrong they have done and also gives them the best chance to repent and ask God to forgive them.

What are your thoughts about this?

I'd never heard of javelina. Looking at them I would have called them wild boar which are known to be aggressive, but an article says they are not pigs. They are herbivores which occasionally scavenge dead animals. So far they sound pretty non-threatening.

They give birth year round, travel in packs of 10 to 50, and are territorial. Long, canine-like teeth.

Yeah, people tend to forget these things. Animals will aggressively protect their young. They are territorial. And pack animals will follow the lead of one. And bites...animals lack the cunning of men, and most have one or two weapons: strong jaws and teeth, which are enough to help them thrive; and numbers.

I was thinking the same things as I read your article. We are to possess the land. Not encourage "evil beasts" to be comfortable around us. This is the folly of PETA.

Also, what PETA does not acknowledge is that giving animals the same rights as man is artificial. It does not only raise the status of animals, it lowers the status of man. In India dolphins were granted legal personhood because they exhibit a certain level of intelligence, which criteria are now legally defined. Men already have legal personhood: we have been duped into it, through collusion between banks and our so-called corporate governments. Suddenly the stage is set for someone to legally charge a man, woman, or child with being less than an animal because he or she do not meet the minimum criteria of a dolphin. This is a very slippery slope, which is a lesson the Lord has taught us about legalism: let your yea be yea, your nay be nay; anything more comes of evil.

We want to be kind and merciful. The Lord commands this of us. But He also commands us to exercise our senses, use discernment, and judge justly. If we do not there are consequences. When we do not possess the land, we get evil beasts among us.

Let us not neglect the understanding that the natural is a shadow of the spiritual. There is a spiritual kingdom, and land to be possessed, and evil beasts to be driven out and kept at bay. That kingdom suffers violence, and the violent would take it by force; by the Spirit is it possessed and defended.

Thanks for the reply Barry. Good comments.

The javelina is native to the Americas ( I think they may have come up from South America). Another name for them is peccory or even skunk pig. They are related to the wild boar. But the wild boar is simply ferral pigs that got loose from pigs brought over from Europe. They were domesticated from wild boar in the first place.

The javelina get up to 100 pounds and over 4 feet long and people have been killed by them. Hunters who hunt them write that they can be very aggressive and dangerous.

The wild boar have become such a problem in the US. They destroy millions of acres of crops and grazing grass every year. They have put some farmers out of business.

PTEA in is just a servant of the devil himself. He wants to destroy all of mankind because The Lord Jesus created men in His image and then shed His blood for them.

How true. Men who refuse to fight for truth and their freedom are doomed to be slaves to others.

Fear of fighting for what is right is not necessarily a love for peace. Most who truly love peace will prepare and be willing to fight to keep it.

If men had not fought for peace all down through the ages, the Hitlers, Stalins, Maos, and Attilas of the world would make everyone a slave to them.

Wow, that entire herd should be found and eliminated.
