  • Russia's Dangerous T-14 Armata Tank

While Obama is dismantling our military by canceling new weapon systems and also replacing competent military leaders with those who agree with his politics ( but are incompetent), the Russians are not sitting still. Here is their new tank to show how they are rebuilding their military like any wise nation will do.

This tank has a better main gun that our tank or the German tank. Further it can detect and shoot down incoming rounds that have been shot at it.

Russia's Dangerous T-14 Armata Tank: Ready for War Next Year?

The Russian Ground Forces are set to take delivery of the first production models of the T-14 Armata main battle tank starting in 2017.

The Russian army has taken delivery of twenty pre-production version of the tank for operational testing—which is currently under way just outside Moscow at Kubinka. The first operational T-14 unit is likely to be stood up in Siberia with a unit that performed particularly well during the invasion of Crimea according to a source.

“Test of the Armata are going according to schedule without any problems,” Alexei Zharich, deputy director of Uralvagonzavod told the Russian language daily Izvestia. “Serial deliveries could begin at any moment—as soon as the customer wants it.”

However, Zharich seems to be addressing only the T-14 main battle tank variant. He didn’t address the other combat vehicles that are part of the Armata family—it’s not clear if those vehicles are also in production. The Armata Universal Combat Platform consists of the T-14 main battle tank, the T-15 heavy infantry fighting vehicle and the T-16 armored recovery vehicle, among a host of other vehicles. Another member of the Armata family includes an upgunned heavy assault armored vehicle, which has been dubbed “the Tank Killer” by Russian media. The “Tank Killer” variant seems to incorporate a derivative of the 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV’s 152mm artillery piece into the Armata chassis in a direct fire mounting.

Izvestia also reveals some additional details about the T-14’s new 2A82-1M 125mm gun—which is mounted in an unmanned turret. The Russians expect that the new weapons outperform all other existing tank cannons by at least twenty percent. According to Russian estimates, the 2A82 cannon produces 1.17 times greater muzzle energy than the Rheinmetall 120mm L55 gun, which is mounted on the latest versions of the Leopard 2 (the M1A2 Abrams uses the older, less capable L44 version). However, the Russian gun is two feet or sixty centimeters shorter than the German-made weapon—which is a significant advantage.

There are also some additional details about the Armata series’ Afghanit active protection system (APS). The system—which uses a 360 active electronically scanned array radar—can simultaneously track 40 ground targets and twenty-five aerial targets within a radius of 60 miles. It can automatically detect and engage targets that are only a foot-long—such as an incoming anti-tank round,Izvestia reports.

The Afghanit system includes a potent electronic warfare system to disrupt the guidance systems of incoming rounds. But it also has a countermeasure suite to jam enemy laser guidance systems. Moreover, the tank is equipped with interceptor rounds for the APS, which are fitted with explosively formed penetrators. That means the Armata’s APS could potentially be effective against even kinetic energy rounds. APS systems are usually most effective when used against chemical energy rounds like rocket-propelled grenades or missiles.

Should an incoming round makes it through the APS—the vehicle is protected by dual-layered Malachit explosive reactive armor in addition to robust passive armor. The composition of the armor is not known—but it is likely some form of laminated ceramic composite matrix. It’s also equipped with slat armor to protect certain areas that would otherwise be vulnerable to rocket propelled grenades.

However, the best way to survive on the battlefield to not to be seen in the first place, as such, the Russians have taken steps to reduce the tanks radar and infrared signature so that it is more difficult to detect and track. Indeed, the Armata’s combination of APS, reactive and passive armor—together with its unmanned turret—could render the vehicles nearly impervious to anti-tank missiles. And indeed, one expert on Russian hardware recently told me that even current generation sabot rounds might not be effective against the T-14. However, until there is more information available about that Armata—it’s hard to say for certain.

    That is an impressive horse-n-buggy.

It seems to me more and more that the West is being set up to require rescuing from its corrupt governments by an outside agency.

      Thanks for the reply Barry.

That is one possible outcome. If one looks down through history, I do not know of even one honest government that was run by mere men.

David was probably the best King that ever ruled, and he murdered his own loyal friend after David committed adultery with his wife.

I doubt if Uriah would say that David was a good King.

This is why our forefathers gave the people of this Republic certain rights that could not be denied, even by popular vote, or opinion.

But the people have become so foolish that they are ready to give up these rights so others can not disagree with them. They seem to think that the Supreme Law of the land ( the US Constitution) can be overruled by a simple majority vote. But that is against the law. No one can vote to take away my rights.

The real problem with that is that if the rights of those you disagree with are lost, so are yours.

The Russian tank may be the best tank in the world right now. They are already putting some in the field to use. Russia has already proven the people and the government are both willing to pay for the best weapons rather than spend the money on TV's, car's and phones.

They do not forget the terrible suffering that came upon them when Hitler invaded their nation and they do not want this to happen again.

Trump is not the man I would pick for POTUS. But if Hillary is elected, our Republic will be destroyed. We can not survive another 8 years of these "progressive" leaders.

Trump has too much pride and does not want to go down as the one who brought this nation down. He will try to do a good job.

I fully believe that the objective of Obama and Hillary is exactly that, to destroy our Republic.

Our Republic has a lot in common with the Roman Republic.

The Roman Republic gave every man a voice. The man was the head of the household. They elected Senators to make laws. Every man had to serve in the army and that meant no war was started that was not necessary. Homosexuality was not allowed. The nations that sacrificed their children to their gods were regarded as disgusting.

The rich Romans started hiring others to take their place in the army.
The same rich men then would vote for wars that would bring profit to them since they or their sons did not have to die in the war.
This led to a professional army that the common Roman citizen did not have to serve in.
Eventually this led to Rome hiring foreigners to serve in their army.
Foreign wars led to an Empire to rule over.
They captured slaves in these wars.
They brought Greek slaves into Rome and these slaves were educated and were used to teach the Roman children.
The Greeks were homosexual and spread homosexuality to Rome.
Eventually this led to homosexual leaders that had been tutored by homosexuals.
The many foreigners that were brought into Rome did not respect the laws of the Republic.
This led to the Republic becoming like the foreign nations that Rome used to despise.
Eventually the foreigners in the Roman army led other armies against Rome and destroyed it.

The US had a army made up of it's citizens, a militia. They did not have a standing army that could be used against the people. The citizens had the weapons and they were kept in every home. The government had no military power, the people had all of the military power. That is why the second amendment was written to stop the government from ever taking these weapons away from the people.

Every man was the head of his household and every man got a vote. Or every family got one vote.

General Washington drummed any homosexual out of the army. Homosexual behavior was not allowed.

The rich bought slaves into the nation. This would later become a curse to the whole nation.

Eventually the citizens did not want to serve in their army so they started a professional army. Eventually they could not find enough citizens that wanted to be in the professional army, so they hired foreigners to be in the army.

The US Constitution stated that any person that did not accept the US Constitution was allowed into the nation. But soon the rich wanted cheap labor so everyone was allowed into the nation. They allowed communists, NAZIS, and Muslims into the nation. All of these groups wanted to destroy our Republic.

Eventually the people became so foolish that they elected a Muslim that was very favorable toward homosexuals as POTUS. This man promoted as many homosexuals to be military leaders as he could find.

This man acted as King and few people stood against his taking over the government.

Now we have a woman, who is guilty of many crimes including murder, running for POTUS. She is pro homosexual and pro Muslim. She also wants to take all weapons away from the people.

If she gets elected, our Republic, or what is left of it, is finished.

Truly our`forefathers were right when they said that only a people who read and believed the Bible could keep our Republic.

Oh how sad to witness the demise of our nation. I don't think the people really care for the most part. There's a global mindset on the forefront of the current agenda. The Lord is our only hope and most of the people don't pray at all, or according to scripture to say the least. Like repetitive chanting. Earnest prayer is what is needed.

Oh, I forgot to ask where I can buy one of those nice tanks above? Do they offer financing?

I'll take 2 please. One has to be pink for Jan though. 4 million a piece? I carry that around on me since I'm all ready for the coming hyperinflation. That's about what a gallon of milk will cost in the near future.

Thanks Steve, below is a copy of some money issued by theWeimar Republic of Germany in 1923.

Note that the word MILLIARDEN means BILLION.

So that is a 100 Billion mark bill. Now that is hyperinflation.

This is domestic hyperinflation. Rising prices were not caused by foreign currency speculators.

That is a remarkable comparison, Lou. The other day I read this article that gives evidence for a strong reason to add an important one to that list:

The Role of Infanticide and Abortion in Pagan Rome’s Decline > Emmet Scott

Yes, I referred to that very briefly, but did not give the details.

Rome was a Republic that hated Carthage because the people of that city were Canaanites that sacrificed their own children with the sword on top of the city wall in front of Roman soldiers. The Romans were so disgusted by those acts that they destroyed Carthage totally.

That victory gave them control over the empire of Carthage. But hundreds of years later the Romans were sacrificing their own children.

Once any nation accepts homosexuality they became total monsters in a very short time.
