It has been a difficult few weeks, between a less than honest roofer who came highly recommended, and a neighbor who would rather invent lies to stir up problems for others rather than accept the fact that she cannot control everything and everyone around her all the time.

Sometimes it makes me so sad, so angry, and so hurt, to see people who try to do the right thing being cheated, maligned, and emotionally beat up. Too bad in this case it's been us.
There just doesn't seem to be much of an incentive for too many people anymore to be decent and fair I guess.

You all remember that part in the Bible about loving thy neighbor? I'm pretty sure God meant it...

So, thank you all for being kind to strangers...and they don't get much stranger than me, that's for sure!
