Stopped by my favorite thrift store this morning and scored a few amazing books - including an almost brand new King James family Bible! You know the one: big book, big print, pictures!
On the way out I ran into a wonderful man named Scott, and we struck up a too-short conversation about life, family, trying times and Disney World
He's going through some troubling times and could use a prayer or two for guidance, please?

I invited him here, and pray that he stops by, maybe even signs in?

And yes, Baruch. Same store. It's a thrift store not far from where I get groceries n other such errands. I have met some of the most wonderful people there.

The Lord promised that His Word would not return to Him void.

Isaiah 55:11

King James Bible
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

And so, I will trust in the Lord to finish the work He started when He planned our encounter.

Amen, trust is The Lord Jesus.

He will bring you in contact with Scott again if He desires, or he will remind you to pray for Him for the next 30 years.

Jesus will carry the heavy burden that only He can carry.

He will give you the little and light burden that you can carry.

When we try to carry the burden that Jesus is to carry, it crushes us.

When we carry the light burden that Jesus gives us, we carry it with joy.

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
