  • Even Transhumanist Elites Are Worried Only the Rich Will Be Able to Hack Death

    http://motherboard.vice.com/read/eve...-zoltan-istvan

That report is ironic and very sad. Where is the hope in a man-made utopia? Would the people who give their talents and labor to the new Tower of Babel even be allowed access?

A number of them seem to recognize that this is what they face:

Mat 20:25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

If they can extend their own lives to match that of the stars, even a star dies eventually. If trapping a soul in creation were possible, how many death and other traumatic experiences can a soul endure and keep its own sanity? That would be very cruel. Thank God, he won't allow it.

The lost seek good fruit in vain from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The devil's doctrine of scarcity teaches there isn't enough resources for all. They want righteousness and fairness, but even man's philosophy of Game Theory carries the caveat that a player who breaks the rules wins every time. The rich and powerful feast on the carcasses of the poor and vulnerable.

"Who wants to live forever in a place that was trying to kill you before you were born?”" she asked the crowd. Before the audience could finish clapping and cheering, they were interrupted by the most well known speaker of the night: Istvan.

"No no no, the world is trying to kill us all, of course,” he granted. But “there’s still opportunity to rise up and become something.”

Biohacking technology will allow humans to greatly extend their lives and it will be available to everyone, Istvan said.

But it wasn’t clear by the end of Z’s story whether that would really be the case.

When inequality came up again during a question and answer session, Istvan tried to brush it aside. “The good news is that we don’t have the robber barons of the 20th century,” he started but was interrupted by protests from the crowd.

We don’t have child labor and stuff like that in America anymore, we have a lot of better rules, and I know it’s not perfect but it’s very hard for the Bill Gates or the Mark Zuckerberg to do anything that is so against the people,” he finished. The crowd grumbled again.
Listen to their false prophet, tickling the ears. It's somewhat amazing that some who are currently putting their hope in the empty, ultimately destructive quest for man's ascension to godhood might be sensing the evil behind it, that they will be deprived of their anticipated inheritance. It's encouraging that they may be feeling some of the pangs in Matthew 5 that lead the blessed to seek the Lord.

God's people have no need to get rich off of death, no need to cheat death: no worry that life will run out, hence no need to worry about tomorrow.

Praise the Lord, we have this command:

    Mat 20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
Mat 20:27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
Mat 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

There is no scarcity in God's kingdom, but abundance.

There is only one LORD and He is the greatest servant and minister, and by this measure it makes Him indisputably the Most High.

Jesus told us that those who try to hang onto their life will lose it; and those who give up their life will gain it.

So these men who seek to hang onto their life will lose it.

One needs to seek the Author of Life, who is Life.

It is far better to possess the well, than a glass of water from the well.

We have but a small portion of water from the well of Life, who is Jesus.

If we trust Him to save us, He will give us the well and a whole river of the water of Life coming from His throne
