Psalm 19
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.

You can see that Charon does NOT orbit around Pluto, BUT both Pluto and Charon orbit around a common point that is not inside of either. This makes Pluto-Charon and twin system even by the definitions of astronomy.

We can see above that Pluto is smaller than Mercury, but not by a lot.

My point is this:
Many scientist are not the servants of The Lord ( though many are). Satan is always trying to pervert the truth. Even though few understand the message in the heavens, Satan is still trying to pervert that message. He just hates the truth. Some scientist were uncomfortable with calling Pluto a planet because it is so small. BUT size in not the only thing to consider.
Bacteria is very very small. But it is still a natural life form. Jupiter is very large, but it is NOT a natural life form.
Complexity and it's operations are also to be considered. Pluto may be small, but the system is very complex.
It may be the only TWIN system in our solar system. It is a twin system AND the twin system has four other moons.
Pluto may be a planet. Thomas was called the TWIN. There was 12 disciples and there may be 12 planets also. If there is, one system may be a twin system like Thomas was a twin.
We need to seek The Lord Jesus for all truth. I do not want to spurn all conclusions of scientists, and also do not want to accept any of them. I want to seek the Lord and ask Him what is true.
All truth is important. Some little detail of truth, that seems of no importance, could be the very key to a very important detail of truth. Great discoveries have been made that were seen because of some little detail that seemed of no importance.
Is Pluto a planet. I do not know, but I tend to think it is. This could lead to an important truth that will be very important to us in the future.
When scientist can create a planet, then they can decide if it is a planet or not. But until that day, only God will decide which of the bodies in our solar system are planets and which are not.
