  • Why Fukushima is such a disaster

Cesium (Caesuim) is one of the elements being released from these reactors. It is the second most reactive element on earth. It is very dangerous even in the non radioactive state. Of course the radio active state is far more dangerous. It is toxic chemically, like arsenic; it is toxic because it is so reactive (explode) , and it is toxic because it is radioactive in the state being released at Fukushima.

This video has a lot of scientific language. But if one listens to it with great care thay will be able to understand enough of it to see how serious the Fukushima disaster is.
