In light of the forum closing down, you may want to save all your private messages (Inbox and Sent Messages).
If you do not save them they will be deleted in the transition.
So, here's how to save your private messages, and it is quite simple:
On the front page of the forums, click the "Private Messages" Tab:
Then go down to the very bottom of the page where you will see the following three options:
Click on whichever of the three options you desire to then download all your private messages in the given format.
XML doesn't work so great for me. CSV works well in a workbook environment like Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice Calc. Text will open in just about anything, like Microsoft Word or Notepad, etc.
If you do not want to lose your private messages I recommend you do this before the close of the forum.
