There is not much on TV that is not insulting to The Lord Jesus. This is worth watching.

Entertainers are responsible for the perception of them they relate to the public. Many of the so-called celebrities of today live life styles that are appalling and that transmit a message to the public that it is OK or even prosperous to act and live the way they do but this is a lie from the pit of hell.

But Dolly Parton seems to be one who does have a genuine fear or love for Christ she seems to navigate towards more wholesome movies and roles to play and she has also recently played down her appearance as for many years she was known as having the largest breast augmentation in Hollywood and I believe it looks to be that she has reduced her augmentation back to normal and is now trying to portray that in her persona. She is an extremely talented and well-loved personality her career spans more than four decades and she has rubbed elbows with the best of them. But what really stands out is that she seems to stand true to her convictions regardless of her successes and of her failures for she has undergone quite a substantial amount of health issues and personal issues in her life. It's rare to see a very successful and wealthy TV personality hold true to their convictions and not do those things that most stars do today to earn great sums of money and to put themselves out in the front of the limelight.

It's quite comendable to see a celebrity such as Kirk Cameron and Dolly Parton sacrifice earning great sums of money for their convictions. This sends a message out to the public which tells everyone that money and success is not the most important thing in life.

The troubling thing in their lives is that they do this surrounded by people that portray the opposite and preach the opposite. Or even punish them for not doing what they do by blacklisting them or talking ill of them in the public or paying less for that type of a star because of their convictions.

Either way our society is polluted with all the messages and all of the things that go on in the entertainment and in the media and all those industries that affect the day-to-day lives of the average people, these are all controlled by Satan and they're all designed to brainwash and lead everyone down a path towards destruction and most of the high paid entertainers find themselves accomplices to this mass conspiracy to destroy the souls of men and disrupt God's plan.

Thank God that God is more powerful in Christ Jesus than any plans conspiracy or any type of war or battle that can go on in our world and in our lives praise be unto the Lord God of hosts for his power and might and control over all that is all that was and all that will be amen.

I do not watch TV much and go to almost no movies. So I do not know of the behavior of Dolly Parton. But I can and did recommend the TV movie "Coat of Many Colors". After all, God spoke through a donkey and the donkey was not righteous.

What a touching and unusual movie. It's evident the people who made that movie love Jesus. I loved all the scripture references and Biblical lessons. It is also a great example of how the strength of a god-fearing mother can bring the whole family to Jesus. And everyone had their difficulties, no one was a whitewashed idol of unrealistic perfection.
