  • Loyalty and friendship

I think a man who would do this is not an evil man, at least not more evil than the rest of us.

Trump Called Robert Kraft Once per Week After His Wife Died to “Lift His Spirits”

Friendship and loyalty mean a lot to New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, which explains why he happens to be such a huge fan of President Donald Trump.

After Kraft’s wife passed away from cancer six years ago, only a very few people were thoughtful enough to stick by the Patriots owner’s side as he struggled with adapting to a life without his partner of 48 years. One of those people was Donald Trump.

“When Myra died, Melania and Donald came up to the funeral in our synagogue — then they came for memorial week to visit with me,” Kraft told the New York Daily News in an interview.

Then he called me once a week for the whole year — the most depressing year of my life when I was down and out,” Kraft added. “He called me every week to see how I was doing, invited me to things, tried to lift my spirits. He was one of five or six people that were like that. I remember that.”

What an amazing gesture. It is no wonder that Kraft has stuck by Trump’s side through thick and thin, including at Indiana Inaugural Ball on Jan. 19, where the then-president-elect acknowledged their friendship in front of the whole world.

“In the audience we have somebody that’s under no pressure whatsoever because he’s got a great quarterback named Tom Brady and a great coach named Belichick — Bob Kraft,” Trump said at the dinner. “Your friend Tom just called, he feels good. He called to congratulate us, he feels good. Good luck. You’re going to do great things.”

The more I see him do, the more I think he has a side of godliness to him. He might be doing some things the wrong way, but since almost everyone is against him, I bet he's doing alot of things right.

The guy seems to want to return to the good ways. Women dressing like women and men dressing as men . He wants to do away with abortion. I like the POTUS more each day.

Same here Steve. I did not like the guy from how he appeared in the past. BUT the more I read of his actions ,and also stories like this, make me like him more everyday.

Some judge goes against the POTUS and he's still a judge? I don't know why this law breaking is not put down once and for all.

It is this simple, the conservatives want judges that follow the supreme law of the land, The US Constitution; The liberals want judges that make their own law by ruling against the Constitution.

I'm curious what you meant by this, Steve. POTUS is in the Executive Branch, Judges are in the Judicial Branch. They must be independent, it is part of the checks and balances. This, of course, assumes a law abiding system and public officials. We currently have none of the above.

Right, liberals contend founding documents are "living", which means they are to be interpreted subjectively in the contemporary social context. Conservatives contend that they are "dead", and must be interpreted objectively in the context in which they were written. In the former the changing mind of the liberal is the standard; in the latter the unchanging mind of the founder is the standard.

                  Hi Barry,
I didn't mean the POTUS should personally challenge him to a duel or something, but he's the POTUS so he should be able to order the FBI or some LE agency to go arrest everyone who is going against the law and especially officials and politicians. They are the ones causing the most trouble. Blessings brother

Right, liberals misuse words to try to influence others that they are on the right side of the argument, when they are really on the wrong side. They use the word "living" because everyone likes living over dead. BUT real LIFE is eternal, NOT changing. Anything that changes will die. God is REAL LIFE and He never changes. Men are born babies and change into adults and then die.

So their use of the word living is a misuse. For if the law changes then it can not be depended on to stand for what is right. If a law is "righteous" then it should never change. That law is dependable.

We want a Constitution that does not change in it's foundation principles.

Lol. :) I gotcha. Yes, there are opportunities for the feds to clean house legally and they have the responsibility to do it. But there is a lot of winking at lawlessness going on in govt. God must be very displeased with the rampant palm-greasing in politics.

The devil, though unwise, is still very smart. He gets the liberals to follow him on a third grade principle. If it changes, it dies; if it doesn't, it's eternal.
